On February 21, 2025, PM Modi inaugurated the first edition of the School of Ultimate Leadership (SOUL) Conclave at Bharat Mandapam, emphasizing the need for dynamic leadership to accelerate India's progress across various sectors.
Bhutanese PM Tshering Tobgay, who attended the event, praised SOUL as the "brainchild" of PM Modi and a testament to his commitment to nurturing future leaders.
The SOUL institute, spanning 22 acres, will be constructed on GIFT City Road, adjacent to the Gujarat Biotechnology University in Gandhinagar. The project, costing ₹150 crore, is expected to be completed in two years.
SOUL is an independent and non-partisan organization, founded by eminent individuals from the private sector, with no affiliation to any government agency or university.
