Shunya: India’s First eVTOL Air Taxi Unveiled by Sarla Aviation

Sarla Aviation, a Bengaluru-based aerospace startup, has unveiled 'Shunya,' India’s first electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) air taxi prototype. 'Shunya' is designed for short trips of 20–30 kilometers, accommodating up to six passengers with a maximum payload of 680 kg, making it the highest payload eVTOL vehicle currently available.

The aircraft can achieve speeds of up to 250 km/h. Sarla Aviation plans to launch 'Shunya' in Bengaluru by 2028, aiming to address the city’s traffic congestion challenges.

Stargate: Trump's $500 Billion AI Initiative for the US

Discovery of 17th-Century Umamaheshwara Sculpture in Karnataka

A significant historical artifact, a Umamaheshwara metal sculpture, has been discovered in Taggunje, Ajri village, Kundapura taluk, Udupi district, Karnataka. This intricate sculpture, believed to date back to the 17th century but created in a 12th-century style, represents a rare blend of Shaiva-Shaktha and Naga cult traditions.
