The 8th Deputy National Security Adviser (DNSA) level meeting of the Colombo Security Conclave (CSC) was hosted virtually by Mauritius on 10 July 2024. India, Mauritius, Maldives and Sri Lanka welcomed Bangladesh as the fifth Member State of the CSC. The CSC includes India, Sri Lanka, Mauritius, and the Maldives, with Seychelles participating as an Observer State.
The Mutual Recognition Agreement (MRA) for organic products between India and Taiwan has been implemented w.e.f. 8th July 2024 during the 9th Working Group on Trade Meeting with Taiwan at New Delhi.
Uttar Pradesh has released its latest summer census figures for the state bird, the Sarus Crane. The total population of Sarus Cranes in the state has reached 19,918, showing an increase of 396 individuals compared to the previous year. The Etawah Forest Division boasts the highest population of Sarus Cranes.
Europe's Ariane 6 rocket successfully launched after a four-year delay, restoring the continent's independent access to space. 
The World Population Day is celebrated annually on 11 July. Theme for World Population Day 2024 is "Leave no one behind, count everyone".
