To inspire and educate the youth about the rich history and heroic deeds of the Indian Air Force (IAF), Air Chief Marshal V R Chaudhari has launched the first comic book in a series dedicated to IAF heroes. Cyclone "Asna" is the first cyclonic storm to hit the Arabian Sea in August since 1976. The name "Asna" was given to the cyclone by Pakistan. This storm was supposed to hit the Gujarat coast on 31 August 2024, but from there, it turned towards Pakistan in the Arabian Sea.

In the last 132 years, 28 storms have come in August in the Bay of Bengal.
